COMPANY FOUNDATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The company was founded on July 1, 1985 by Klaus Schell and Friedhelm Weyel as SWG Metallverarbeitung und Montagetechnik GmbH in Herborn-Guntersdorf. The initials SWG stand for the names of the two company founders and the location of the company: Schell-Weyel-Guntersdorf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 40 years now, SWG has stood for precision parts made of aluminum profiles and, with around 70 employees, is one of the leading manufacturers of building hardware, blinds and awning accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The forward-looking orientation of the automotive industry to focus more on lightweight construction and thus on aluminum as a material has also opened up new sales markets for us there. In the field of vibration control components, our products are used in power units, chassis, engines and gearboxes. In fluid technology, we produce connecting elements for air conditioning lines and, as a subcontractor, components for the general vehicle sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another area of business is heat sink technology, where we played a key role in the development of a new high-performance heat sink. This new manufacturing variant dissipates approx. 30% more heat compared to conventionally pressed heat sinks and is used for highly efficient heat dissipation from electronic components. The area of application is complex machine controls for CNC centers and wind turbines. It goes without saying that they can be individually adapted to a wide range of applications in heat and cold dissipation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
